HST Beginner's Series

Here is a series for those of you who are just starting out. I will be setting up a song from scratch and will be going through things like Mic positioning, interface and input gain level setting, tracking and best capture techniques and then mixing\mastering and publishing, all in one series. It is an ongoing seried with new chapters every month.

    Now the real fun begins, setting up Studio One and laying the first scratch tracks. We are going to go through vocals, guitar and drums and get a scratch mix. Then we move everything to Studio One 3 and continue with percussion, bass and electric guitars.
