Hi Johnny, Just recently installed Studio One 3 on my windows. Before I was using Cubase5 for quite some time but I got a problem with my Waves plugins so I dont know how to fix it up so while figuring out a way I figured I'll try Studio One. I find that this DAW is somewhat very interesting and user friendly. Came across your page and watched some of your videos. I liked it because it is so straight forward and explained clearly. Thanks for the guides.

Thanx man, I appreciate that. If you ever have any ideas for videos let me know.

Thank You this was very helpful. I bought a used Audiobox with a condenser mic from a person that couldn't make it work. So I can only use the free version of Studio 1 Two, but it seems very powerful and as I develop some knowledge and skills I will upgrade.

I don't have a 16.0.2 but I do know you need to setup the outputs in Studio One to come back on channels 15 and 16 on the mixer. Make sure you turn on the Firewire returns.

What's causing my novation impulse 49 midi keyboard to play quiet when I use the virtual instruments located in studio one 3 professional? It plays perfect when I use the mouse curser to click on the keys of the instruments on the screen.

Hi Johnny-from the beginning is the best start up instructional video on the web covering studio 1, Hands down! What would you suggest as a "step 2" video to watch?
Thanks for all that you do

What do you mean you tried downloading the Firestudio Tube? You mean the driver? You need that for it to work. Completely eliminating latency is not possible. making it less you can do. The only way to eliminate it is to use the Universal Control Mixer and monitor the inputs directly.

Just joined today. I am setting up studio one, new to all of this completely. I tried to download firestudio tube 4 different times with absolutely no luck so I could get rid of that latency. I have a Dell Inspiron 64 bit windows 7. It fails to start in studio one. Any suggestions? My first and main concern right now is eliminating latency

Yes, the tracks arm armed and ready. The mixer shows input bit track does not]

It sounds to me like you don't have the track set to the input you are monitoring.
